Examination registration for undergraduate studies (non-faculty students)

Application The undergraduate studies lectures begin in the fall semester and run for two semesters. Please register for the lectures and the associated tutorials in both semesters. The basic study examinations take place in June, the repeat examinations in Oct/Nov.

To register for examinations, send an email with your surname, first name, matriculation numbers and details of the examinations you wish to take to nicole.saraceno@clutterunibas.ch.

Deadlines for exam registration: In the spring semester: during the registration periods In the fall semester: from August 1 - 31

If you only take the course registration, you have not yet registered for the exam! No consideration can be given to late course registrations.

Extension of examinations An application for an extension of examinations for the basic course examinations can be submitted to the Office of the Dean of Studies. Further information can be found here.

Examination dates The examination dates are published on the homepage of the Faculty of Law. The examination invitations for the basic study examinations are sent to the candidates by e-mail two weeks before the start of the examination session.

Examination der egistration Cancellation due to illness or for valid reasons is only possible with a doctor's certificate or corresponding documents and the examination deregistration form no later than 10 days after the examination. Students who fail to appear for a basic study examination without a valid reason or medical certificate will receive a grade of 1 for this examination.

Repeatexamination A new application is required for repeat examinations. Send an email with your surname, first name, matriculation numbers and details of which examinations you wish to take to nicole.saraceno@clutterunibas.ch.
