The academic achievement can be written as a free Master's thesis or as a Master's thesis in a seminar or moot court, as a large or small Master's thesis. Before starting your Master's thesis, you must conclude a Master's thesis contract with your supervisor and send it to the Office of the Dean of Studies. Free master's thesis

If a master's thesis is written outside of a seminar, no course registration in Online Services is required. The master's thesis contract serves as the basis for writing the master's thesis.

Master's thesis in a seminar or moot court

The seminar or moot court must be registered in Online Services. In this case, the credit points for the course can no longer be earned. This also applies to students in bachelor's studies who write a master's thesis in a moot court.

Master's thesis grade

The grade of the master's thesis will be announced no later than two months after submission of the thesis. Students should contact the supervisor directly if they have any questions about the grade.
