According to § 10 para. 2 of the doctoral study regulations, the second supervisor must be approved by the Curriculum and Examination Committees no later than twelve months after admission to the doctorate. According to § 11 para. 3 of the doctoral study regulations, the external expert must be approved by the curriculum and examination committees before the dissertation is submitted. The corresponding application form must be submitted to the Office of the Dean of Studies, Dr. Martin Reimann:

Important:

Changes concerning the composition of the doctoral committee must be reported to the Office of the Dean of Studies immediately.

The latest date for registering the external supervisor or a change in the composition of the doctoral committee with regard to the next possible application for the doctoral colloquium is:

- April 1 for the intended doctorate in the following November

- October 1 for the intended doctorate in the following May
