Undergraduate studies (1st and 2nd semester)

In the undergraduate studies, students learn knowledge and working methods that are fundamental and essential for their further studies. They are taught basic knowledge in the areas of private law, public law and criminal law. During the undergraduate studies, there is a fixed timetable of lectures and tutorials in which students apply what they have learned to cases. The undergraduate studies are completed with a block examination and the completion of 60 credit points. Passing the exam is a prerequisite for starting the postgraduate course. Postgraduate studies (from 3rd semester)

In postgraduate studies, the skills acquired in the areas of private law, public law and criminal law are deepened in a prescribed curriculum. Students also write a proseminar paper and a seminar paper in the writing skills module. The postgraduate course, in which 120 credit points must be earned, can be completed full-time or part-time. At the end of the postgraduate course are the specialist examinations, passing which is a prerequisite for obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Law. The bachelor's studies form the basis and prerequisite for the master's studies and thus for the completion of the full legal education with the Master of Law.
