Postdoctoral qualification
The aim of the habilitation is to establish teaching qualification in a scientific field. The scientific assessment is based on a written habilitation performance, other equivalent publications or the habilitation at another university as well as proof of pedagogical-didactic skills. At the end of the successful habilitation, the venia docendi for a scientific field and the title Privatdozent*in (private lecturer) are awarded.
The title obligates the holder to remain academically active and to teach a course at the Faculty of Law for an average of two semester hours per week in the academic field for which the venia docendi has been granted.
