Faculty Assembly
Composition
The Faculty Assembly is the highest body of the Faculty. It is made up of all professors and representatives of the individual Groups. The Dean chairs the Faculty Assembly. The Managing Director attends the meetings ex officio with the right to propose motions. The Faculty Assembly is administered by the Dean's Office.

Responsibilities
The Faculty Assembly makes all important decisions for the Faculty. For example, it decides on central issues of strategic planning and quality assurance at the Faculty of Law, draws up development and structural plans (ESP), issues teaching assignments or decides on the awarding of honorary doctorates. All tasks incumbent upon the Faculty Assembly are listed in §6 of the Faculty Regulations of the Faculty of Law.
Frequency of meetings
The Faculty Assembly generally meets once a month during the lecture period in the spring and fall semesters, a total of 6 times a year.
