Looking back: Disability Law Conference 2024
On June 27, 2024, the annual conference on the rights of people with disabilities took place in the great hall of the University of Basel. It was organized by the Faculty of Law together with the Federal Office for Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (EBGB) and the umbrella organization Inclusion Handicap. The focus was on the revision of the Disability Discrimination Act (BehiG), the inclusion initiative, developments in the cantons and Inclusion Handicap's strategic process management project. The conference was attended by around 250 people. These included people with disabilities themselves, representatives of disability organizations and members of various administrations.
