Workshop "The Technology and Ethics of CRISPR"

Three-days interdisciplinary workshop for leading scientists, ethicists, legal scholars and practitioners.

The three-days workshop will focus on the current and future use or potential misuse of the gene editing technology CRISPR/Cas. It will consolidate existing and spark new interdisciplinary work by combining different perspectives on CRISPR Gene Editing and by putting spotlights on both Germline Gene Editing and Somatic Gene Editing.
This event will bring together leading scientists, ethicists, legal scholars and practitioners and provide a forum for interdisciplinary research. In addition to expert presentations, there will be time for moderated and roundtable discussions. Early career researchers will present and discuss their research focus in a poster session.
