Artificial intelligence is no longer just science fiction, but an integral part of our world. From self-driving cars and personalized recommendations on streaming platforms to automated tax assessments - AI is everywhere and has experienced an enormous upswing in recent years. AI offers both opportunities and challenges. From a legal perspective, this raises the question: how do we navigate between innovation and regulation?

In our Tour d'Horizon, we take a look at legislative projects at international, national and local level - from the EU and the Council of Europe to the federal government and cantons. What do the laws and regulations in this area look like and what influence do they have on the development and use of AI? Who is focusing on innovation and who is focusing on regulation? Who manages to combine both goals? On this themed evening, we will address these questions and discuss the balancing act between innovation and regulation.
