Wireless LAN is available in the entire library area:

• WLAN "eduroam" is a worldwide network for members of higher education institutions, which enables Internet access on the respective campus (only members of the University of Basel have access to electronic media licensed by the University of Basel).
• WLAN "unibas-public" with authentication via the "VPN Client" enables members of the University of Basel to access servers of the University of Basel (worldwide, incl. licensed electronic media).
• WLAN "unibas-visitor" enables non-university members to register free of charge using their cell phone number. A code valid for 6 months is sent via SMS. This connection does not allow access to the electronic media licensed for university members.

6 PC stations with MS-Office programs are provided for university members (application via "Unibas-Account" and password, please do not forget to deregister when leaving the device).
