Am 24.09.2026 von 12:00 bis 13:30 organisiert das Graduate Center das «Information Event for new PhD candidates and Postdocs». Die Veranstaltung wird online stattfinden. Zusammen mit den zentralen Diensten der Universität wird GRACE alle wichtigen Themen rund um das (Post)Doktorat an der Universität Basel vorstellen – von Nachwuchsförderung bis Transferable Skills. Der Zoom-Link zur Veranstaltung wird rechtzeitig über den (Post)Doktoratsverteiler versendet. Am Abend des gleichen Tages organisiert die Assistierendenvereinigung avuba auch einen Apéro, an dem sich neue Doktorierende und Postdocs kennenlernen können.

On September 24, 2026 from 12 to 1:30 p.m., the Graduate Center is organizing an Information Event for new PhD candidates and Postdocs. The event will be held online. Together with all central services of the university, GRACE will provide you with important information for your time here in Basel – from Career Advancement to Transferable Skills. The zoom-link for the event will be made available in due time via the PhD and Postdoc mailing list. In the evening of the same day, there will also be an apéro organized by the assistants’ association avuba where new PhD candidates and Postdocs can get to know each other.
